Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Plumber Mechanic to lead plumbing work on a Queens project. This role is for a seasoned professional who can independently complete installations and mentor junior staff.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, layout, and install plumbing systems for commercial and residential projects.
  • Read and interpret detailed blueprints and specifications.
  • Assemble, install, and repair pipes, valves, fittings, and fixtures for water, heating, and drainage systems.
  • Diagnose complex plumbing issues and implement long-term solutions.
  • Conduct pressure tests and inspections to ensure systems meet code and client standards.
  • Supervise and train apprentices and junior plumbers.
  • Ensure all work complies with NYC plumbing codes, OSHA standards, and project requirements.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5+ years of plumbing experience, including commercial and residential projects.
  • Strong knowledge of NYC plumbing codes and regulations.
  • Ability to lead crews, delegate tasks, and coordinate with other trades.
  • Proficiency with power tools, testing equipment, and installation techniques.
  • OSHA 30 certification preferred.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
